Nice but not perfect by any means.... December 31, 2008 Frank E. Trinkle (Valdosta, GA USA) I have both the rear extension and this one for my 4100-09. It takes about 10 minutes to install by the instructions. There are two problems with this extension that are more annoyances than deal-breakers: 1. The extension is somewhat lower than the table and I don't see how it can be easily made level. Not that big a deal, but should have been absolutely level. 2. Unlike the rear extension, there is quite a bit of wobble in the extension when it is extended. The rear extension is quite firm, but this one seems less than solid. Still happy with the purchase and can make it work for what I need it for.
Must have accessory September 15, 2008 B. Hall (Wash DC) Definitely adds to the usability of the saw. Easy to install. Would have given it 5 stars, but it droops slightly when fully extended. It still offers improved functionality/productivity for the price.
TS 1003 Left Side Support May 19, 2008 Dwight L. Weingard (Chillicothe Ohio) This is just what I was looking for and it was very easy to install.
Product Great but beware of Amazon Customer Service! May 5, 2008 N. Dearborn (Los Angeles) I purchased 2 Side supports and received 2 boxes, one with product and one empty! The actual product is really quite nice. However, I tried to contact customer support via their automated email about receiving an empty box and they wanted me to send the product (that doesn't exist) back. A human does not read or can not read the complaints. Very poor customer relations. I will not buy from these folks again! If I sound like sour grapes, your right. I just wanted a real person to contact me! Is that too much to ask?
Worthless Product April 18, 2008 G. Kopp (Minneapolis, MN) It's hard to believe that this product is made by Bosch. The table saw is fantastic, yet Bosch seemed to produce this part with virtually no thought. It sags significantly, hence, what's the point... you need to keep the wood flush to the table saw, so the extension isn't even in use. The worst part is that it barely extends outward. It doesn't extend nearly as far as the other side of the table, so you're better off just moving the board to the right side of the table. Do not waste your money on this product!
